C-Net have given Samsung's i730 Windows Mobile smartphone their 'Best Smartphone of the year' award with a score of 8.3 out of 10. The smartphone features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a super-fast 520MHz processor, 3G EVDO connectivity, SD memory card expansion, and Wi-Fi. They say it makes a great PIM phone for high-speed internet browsing and multimedia playback. Downsides noted included a less-than-impressive battery life, inability to act as a laptop modem, and limited Bluetooth support. The phone is also limited to a phone connection OR Wi-Fi - it cannot do both at once.
