We mentioned this phone earlier, along with news that Orange were planning a release in early 2006, but it seems that things have been rushed along so that the Samsung SGH-i300 will be available in the UK before Christmas! For those of you not already lusting after this phone, it is a candybar handset featuring a 3GB hard disk with MP3/AC3/WMA playback. We're still in the dark about the effect the hard disk will have on the phone's battery life, although our current thinking is that it will be doing well to break the 12 hour mark.
