Asus have launched their first slider phone. The handset is initially only available in Taiwan with a pricetag of around US$360. The phone features audio and video playbac and an FM radio tuner. It also boasts a 1.3 megapixel camera and a miniSD card slot. Via Phoneyworld.com:
While Asus took its own sweet time to come out with the first slider phone, despite it being such a popular design; at least they have done a good job of it. The Asus V70 comes with a price tag of 360 USD and has some really good features. The MP3-enabled slide phonesupports multimedia such as MPEG4, 3GP, H.263, MIDI and features a 1.8-inch 263k-color TFT LCD display. The phone also has a built-in FM radio tuner.
