
LG have released their new F9200 candy bar handset featuring a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. On the face of it this dual band phone looks fairly decent with the keyboard being highly suggestive of a mobile communicator a la the
Nokia 9500 but alas, it's all lies. This thing is designed for one thing, and one thing only, and that is SMS texting. The ropey GPRS data connection and pathetic 160x128 LCD screen are the main clue, but the other failings such as a mere VGA (0.3 megapixel) camera also reveal this handset for the low-end device it really is. On the plus side it has full speakerphone capabilities. We kid you not.
